
JOSEPH PARHAM ARRESTED
Statement from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office
SALISBURY N.C. (Sunday, March 23, 2025) – On Sunday, March 23, 2025, at approximately 8:44 am, deputies with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigative traffic stop on a white Hyundai Kona bearing a NC license plate of LFW-2672. Deputies had obtained information, that Joseph Parham Jr., who was wanted for shooting into an occupied vehicle, and possession of firearm by a felon, had been seen riding in that vehicle.
During the traffic stop, deputies were able to determine that Parham was located at 170 Deer Haven Drive. Deputies responded to that location, and as they were approaching the residence, Parham ran out the back door, where he was ordered to stop by deputies. He complied and was taken into custody without any further incident.
Parham was served with the outstanding warrants for Discharging a Firearm into Occupied Property and Possession of Firearm by a Felon. He was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under no bond due to Pre-trial Integrity.
