Salisbury police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead Thursday morning near South Shaver Street and East Horah Street.

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public assistance in locating a missing 13-year-old runaway. Investigators reported Johnathan Morales left his home on Sylvan Road on Dec. 26, 2025, and did not return. Deputies took the missing person report on Dec. 29, 2025.
