On Thursday authorities reported they were searching for a couple out of Davie County that had been missing. According to the Davie County Sheriff's Department, Cynthia Roberson Gobble and Gregory Wayne Gobble have been found deceased on the Iredell/Davie County line. Authorities say they do not believe anyone else is involved and are currently investigating the incident.

"Missing Persons
The Davie County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance with locating two missing individuals last seen in the area of Country Lane, Campbell Road, and Highway 601 in Mocksville, NC on Wednesday, May 29th.
The two individuals are a Cynthia Roberson Gobble, white female, 60 years old, and Gregory Wayne Gobble, white male, 59 years old. Cynthia is diabetic and it is believed that she does not have any medicine with her. She is considered endangered at this time.
They were last seen in a 1997 white Ford F250 pickup truck bearing NC plate YV1974.
