The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in locating the following missing person:
Calvin Knotts
Mr. Knotts is an 80-year-old African American man standing 6’1” and 140 pounds.
Mr. Knotts was last seen walking away from his home on Graybark Rd. in Midland around 10:00(a) this morning. Mr. Knotts often walks his neighborhood and surrounding wooded areas. Mr. Knotts was last seen wearing a turquoise in color short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and possibly a baseball hat.
Mr. Knotts suffers from Dementia and does not have any of his medications with him.

"Good Morning, the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department has had to cancel THEIR PART of the search. The search is now Nation Wide. We the Knotts Family are asking that you please continue to be on the look out and report anything out of the ordinary in your area. Because we all know somebody that knows somebody continue to share that Mr. Knotts/Calvin is still missing ask them to check their ring & game/deer cams. Unless you've been in our situation you have NO IDEA of WHAT WE'RE GOING THROUGH, however it is evident by many of your comments you know and believe that we serve a MIGHTY GOD, the only prayers that don't get answered are the ones that don't get prayed. So CONTINUE TO PRAY with us and for us."
